Im pulling a juniper right now... she always has CD reviews but im recommending 2 very mainstream popular albums out right now that are just truely amazing.

SOOOOO here i go:

Soundtrack: SPIDERMAN 2

This soundtrack is awesome. Im a huge YELLOWCARD fan and they are featured on it but along with them is an amazing song by JET, DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL's kick ass new song, and every other song is truely amazing.

Artist's Album: AVRIL LAVIGNE

So much more edger then her first CD. She ripped any shred of bubblegum pop from her voice and her music which existed in songs on her last album. Not this one. The lyrics are harder, her voice is more piercing. She proves herself as an artist who won't conform and potential to go into interesting directions in future albums.

Any new CD's you've gotten lately that you highly recommend and why?

I'm looking forward to Spiderman 2, I liked the first one. In the first one Macy Gray was singing a song called "Nutty Nutmeg Fantasy" in one of the scenes. That's a song from a band called Weapon of Choice, an LA band that is heavy on the funk. I hope the soundtrack for 2 is as good. Avril seems like brat to me, but I'm an old school punk so go figure.

I have it from a reliable source that juniper is a SHE not a HE! ! !!! :)

As for the reviews, I wasn't wild about the first spiderman soundtrack and actually reviewed the CD of an artist who appeared on it (Bleu) for LT... but I'm willing to give the second film a shot. I've not seen the movie, but the music in the trailer is pretty cool.

As for Avril Lavigne... I really want to hate her, mostly because I despise the entire concept of "pop-punk" BUT even I have to admit that her music is pretty catchy. In fact, a pal of mine was watching that Amanda Bynes movie (What a Girl Wants) the other day, and although I was in the other room cooking, I found myself humming along. Of course, I immediately slapped myself silly... but once I recovered, I had to concede the power of pop. :)

Good recommendations... I hope you "pull a juniper" more often! :)

I hope you visit our site from time to time and keep in touch - we're sending you a big hug thru cyberspace from the band! thank you! xo lexi

It is odd being a 38 year old male and liking the music of a 16 year old if SHE is that old. I like the latest CD.
