[b]For everyone who isn't aware, today is the
[u]NATIONAL DAY OF SILENCE.[/u]
What is the NDS?
Today people contribute in a nationwide 12 hrs of silence in honor of all of the lesbian/gay community who are/were forced to say silent about their sexual identity.
I didn't participate in it today, i hate to say this, but its because im blonde enough i forgot today was the 21st and thought it was the 19th today. I'm on the ball as you can tell.
I really support this day because i believe it is unfair to treat people differently, abuse people, and physically harm people over something as sexual identity. It is unfair that they must stay silence.

[b]Do you think you can receive a better education at a private school or a public school? At a big university, or a small college?[/b]
I have been thinking about this lately. I go to a small public college. A lot of people say that going to a private school is better because you have the best of the best as professors. But also that they are never there, they are off doing research, so TA's always end up teaching. Then there's that big universitys are better because you have state of the art equipement and so many options. But you don't get individual teacher one-on-one attention that you get in small college's.
I was just wondering, what do you think?

[b]Young filmmaker Dawson Leery's (James Van Der Beek) journey into adulthood.
WHY THIS SHOW: This show changed my life. It made me realize so much, gave me motivation, and gave me something to relate my life to when everything went insane. Everyone should have a show like this to help them through their teen years.

I am so much like Dawson, Joey, Jen, Andy, & Pacey all put together. I wrote a prompt on it and its extremely scary how much i am like them, or they are like me.
Kevin Willamson (the creator of the show and writer of "Scream" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer") is one of my absolute favorite screenwriters who i respect so much. He created the show roughly from his life. It was amazing. And the shows finale ended how it should. (And many people don't understand why Joey & Dawson COULDNT end up together, ask me and i shall explain).

He enters and finds himself having many struggles in order to fit in with the rich and wealthy who attend. He finds a strong connection w/ Scout (Mark Famiglietti) who helps him fit in.

I loved this show. This show lacked the raunch most television is filled with these days. It was smart and talked about things such as philosophy, lessions in life, authors like Hemingway and Thoreau, and about life in general and growing up. It was beautiful.

Abortion is a very touchy subject these days. [b]There's the question that hovers above all of our heads: Should it be illegal or legal? And under what circumstances?[/b]
I would like to know where everyone stands on this. My personal belief is that it should be the mothers own choice to have an abortion or not, up to a certain point (basically no more then 2 monthes into pregnancy). It's horrible to have an unwanted child brought into the world, but its also horrible to kill a child already ready to come into the world.
I bring up this topic after seeing the pictures in princessperky's blog, and i wonder what everyone thinks. And its a good intermission from my countdown.

The show is about a ex-cop who returns to the US after spending hardcore jail time in Hung Kung after being set up for narcotics. Once he returns, he has lost his family, friends, and job and must struggle to rebuild his life. I'm a martial artist, which is probably one of the reasons why i loved this show so very much. I could relate to it, but it was truely a good show and i have ever episode except ep 2 "Jump Start" on my computer to watch over and over again.

Well.... i went to see EVE 6 in concert because they came to my school to tour. AWESOME concert, they rocked.
To make a long story short, the concert was amazing, i was completely exhausted afterwards, and i got to meet the band. I had Jon (bass) sign my right arm, Tony (drummer) sign my left arm, and Max (lead singer) sign my back. Tony's so hot. The best concert eva!
ROCK ON!!!!

Due to his absence with his family over the years due to being away all the time at work doing brain surgery, Brown has to figure out how to reconnect with his family and rebuilt the bond between him and his daughter Delia (Vivian Cardone) and the completely distroyed relationship with his son Ephrim (Gregory Smith).

The show which took off unexpectedly is still aired on the WB after several seasons. The show has had its share of bumps though including Shannon Dorthy's departure, Rose McGowan replacing Dorthy as the long lost sister, along with interesting plot changes and cast departures and arrivals with other characters (such as Julian's departures and returns as Cole and Drew Fuller's joining of the cast).
